Jagadguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj (the 5th Original Jagadguru ), was a multi-million spiritual guru in India who taught exalted, but comprehensible, Vedic philosophy . The founder of Prem Mandir and the leader of the Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat , he interprets the Vedas, Bhagavad Gita and Shrimad Bhagavatam as focusing on Prem Bhakti as the ultimate purpose of spirituality, i.e. a selfless and pure loving relationship to God. His philosophy as found in some of his works such as Prem Ras Siddhant directs devotees on the path to blissful eternity of worship and surrender.
